Integrating Java & Brain Technology towards new frontiers!!

In a pioneering step that has far reaching implications globally, the Chartered Chamber has collaborated with the Maharishi University of Management , USA to expand its curriculum by the inclusion of Brain technology to be offered with Java technology to create a new breed of Java Evangelists, a unique amalgam for the first time in the world!! This would also open further frontiers to follow accredited programmes for enthusiastic practitioners.

By organizing a World Congress on the theme:"Integrating Open Source Java Technology to build Social Capital in Achieving United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)", the Chamber has already signaled to the world that it is not restricted to narrow confines of a Java specialty in isolation of the rest of the activities needed to help create a better world for all.

It realized the value of focusing on "Social Capital" sometimes least understood or focused upon among other forms of capital measures, such as, financial capital, physical capital. Physical capital is spoken about because of the environmental movement. Therefore we hear charged debates on trees, water, coal and what constitutes sustainable development and financial capital due to many economic issues that have shocked us during the past years.

For some reason or the other Social capital has not been given that amount of attention. It usually refers to refers to the processes between people which establish networks, norms, social trust and facilitate co-ordination and co-operation for mutual benefit.

However we in the Chamber have taken the position that Social capital should be the most valued form of any capital as it provides the basis on which we build a truly civil society. Without our social bases we cannot be fully human. Social capital is as vital as language for human society.

More than halfway to the 2015 deadline to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), major advances in the fight against poverty and hunger have begun to slow or even reverse as a result of the global economic and food crises. So far there are significant advances together with important set-backs. Every region faces particular challenges but has the opportunity to work together in order to achieve the MDGs.

Java could also provide much needed systems, new communication tools and help link the world, monitor and build stronger networks to reach our MDG targets.

The Chamber extends a warm welcome to all who are participating this year and in the years to come and assures its fullest support to help develop a better world for all.!!
